First Aid at Work (3 Day)

Comprehensive First Aid at Work training designed to provide learners with the knowledge, confidence and practical skills required to respond effectively to a wide range of workplace emergencies.

Training includes:

• The role and responsibilities of a First Aider
• Assessing an emergency situation safely
• Adult CPR
• Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Management of an unresponsive casualty
• Choking
• Bleeding and shock
• Fractures, sprains and soft tissue injuries
• Burns and scalds
• Head, spinal and chest injuries
• Stroke, heart attack, seizures and diabetes
• Asthma, anaphylaxis and poisoning
• Recording, reporting and workplace responsibilities

Suitable for workplaces, care providers, healthcare organisations and businesses requiring comprehensive First Aid at Work training in line with current workplace requirements.
